Rapid progression observed in young adults with glioma and IDH mutations

Among patients with glioma and IDH mutations, young adults have significantly worse survival outcomes than other age groups, researchers say.

According to Dr Mary Jane Lim-Fat of Sunnybrook Health Science Center in Toronto, Canada, the prognostic significance of IDH mutations in younger patients with glioma is not fully understood.
